Old Library Co-op in Yarram
I have been quite busy with the shop I have opened with a few friends in town and so the blog and online shops have been a little neglected! That and the poor internet connection where I live. Here are a few pics of what I have been up to. Also check out Facebook/OldLibraryYarram.
I completed an Associate Diploma in Fashion Design and Production with the Melbourne College of Textiles some years ago.
I now work at my parents house, where I have a workroom set up, when I am not at home in Tarra Valley looking after my little family!
I love doing machine embroidery and also silk screening and sewing on little extras like buttons. And then wearing something that no-one else has or seeing other people wear something I have created. I get to use all the skills I learned at college, such as pattern-making, sewing, marketing, designing etc.
I just love clothing and textiles! I love looking at them, I love making them and I love seeing what other people are making.
